Established in the year 2004, the Maths and Tech Club was initially conceived with the idea of providing a stage for the elite in the field of mathematics who shared an equal passion for defining technology. Dr S C Sikdar who was the HOD of the mathematics department of this college, ably guided a bunch of talented individuals who together dared to tap into the mathematical proficiency of the students of this college. We understood the need hour by providing our students a forum for testing out themselves several times before exams like CAT, GATE and also for the campus placements and with this we kicked of events which were engineered specifically for these tests. Our club not only is the fastest growing community in our college, but its achievements are far more than can be explicitly mentioned on paper.

Mathematics week presents you the chance to strengthen your core knowledge of mathematics and the deeper aspects left untouched in daily life, nevertheless useful. Because Mathematics doesn’t just COUNT.

30^th Jan – Innova

1^st Feb – Vedic Mathematics Workshop

(2 interactive sessions of 3 hours each)

Note :

1. Participants interested to take part are required to register on or before 24^th Jan ’09.

2. Registrations to be done with the respective Hall representatives.

3. Registration fee of Rs. 50 /- is to be paid to the hall representatives.

4. Attractive cash prizes for the individual winner and the Overall winner.

5. There are limited entries for the Vedic Maths Workshop which will be provided on first come first serve basis.

6. Event timings and location will be put up shortly.

7. It is mandatory to bring the registration card to participate in the event.
